Primošten is located on a small island which is linked with the mainland. It is 20 km far south of Šibenik. Globally, it is known for the name ‘City of the beaches’ because the whole island is literally surrounded by beaches. Furthermore, Primošten is a popular tourist destination for decades and it is visited by tourists from all over the world. In Primošten it is possible to participate in different sport activities such as beach volleyball, waterskiing, windsurfing, diving, fishing, mini-golf, tennis, table tennis and basketball. The island is also recognized for the production of extra virgin olive oil and the famous wine of Babić.
